Scuderia Sim Pink Maranello has been established in Maranello as the first professional sim racing team made up entirely of women. The project represents an initiative that combines technological innovation with motorsport culture, with the aim of bringing a structured approach to virtual endurance racing into the world of esports.

The team will compete with a Ferrari 296 in a black and pink livery, taking part in sim racing competitions that accurately replicate the dynamics of real-world motorsport. This is made possible through advanced software capable of simulating key variables such as fuel consumption, damage, tyre wear, and car setup.
The roster includes Amelia Wolf, Ilaria Fin, Gloria Torriero, and Katrina Edmunds, along with Team Manager Lucrezia Milanese – an international line-up combining diverse technical skills and backgrounds.
Competitions and official debut
Racing activities take place on advanced driving simulators designed to deliver a high level of fidelity in reproducing track dynamics and race strategy management.
The team will make its official debut at the 24 Hours of Spa on 11–12 July, one of the benchmark events in endurance racing, including within the esports landscape.
Structure, development and project governance
The Sim Pink Maranello project is chaired by Simona Zanasi, who promotes a vision focused on developing initiatives that integrate innovation, education, and inclusivity within motorsport.
The project was developed in collaboration with Team Principal Federico Soave, with the objective of building a competitive presence within the sim racing ecosystem.
The drivers are supported by coach Cristian Malghera. Further developments are planned to strengthen the organisational structure and expand the team’s technical capabilities.
The initiative is supported by technical partners, including Sim Maranello, and its official launch involved local institutions, including Maranello Mayor Luigi Zironi and Regional Councillor Ludovica Carla Ferrari.
Strategic development and future outlook
The project is part of a broader strategy to develop sim racing as a competitive and inclusive platform, enabling wider access to motorsport through advanced digital tools. In this context, the creation of an all-female team represents a distinctive step in terms of representation and talent development.
This vision also extends to real-world motorsport. Alongside the virtual team, Zanasi Group has recently introduced Zanasi Racing, which will compete in the 2026 Italian Gran Turismo Championship. The line-up is expected to include Vittoria Piria.
The initiative strengthens the Group’s positioning within an ecosystem that integrates both real and virtual racing, with a specific focus on the development and promotion of female talent.
As highlighted by the management:
“We have recently launched Zanasi Racing, which will compete with the Ferrari 296 Challenge in the Italian GT Sprint Championship. However, we believe that in order to engage a younger and more dynamic audience, while also helping to reduce the gender gap in virtual motorsport, an all-female team like this is the right direction.”
