A new well in the village of Vitto, in Malawi’s Thyolo District, is helping provide the local community with safer and more direct access to water. The humanitarian project is supported by Zanasi Group in partnership with Rock No War OdV and Cose dell’altro mondo OdV.

A humanitarian project for an essential resource

Access to water is a fundamental condition for the life and development of any community. It is from this understanding that, in 2026, Zanasi Group is supporting a new humanitarian project in Malawi, in collaboration with Rock No War OdV, a volunteer organisation led by Giorgio Amadessi, and Cose dell’altro mondo OdV.
As part of the project, the Group contributed to the construction of a water well in the village of Vitto, in the Thyolo District, with the aim of providing the local community with direct and safer access to drinking water.

The value of collaboration: water, solidarity and the future

A tangible initiative that brings Zanasi Group’s support directly to the local community, creating value where it matters most. The collaboration with the two volunteer organisations is part of the Group’s broader commitment to supporting projects that deliver lasting impact, extending its commitment to social responsibility beyond the boundaries of its industrial activities.
Because, as the organisations involved in the project put it, “providing water is not charity. It is justice. And it is joy”.
