AWA Fundraising Dinner

Zanasi Group and SIM Maranello Support Women’s Empowerment in the Automotive World

On Thursday, February 12, 2026, AWA – Automotive Women Association celebrated its second anniversary with a fundraising dinner held at the headquarters of SIM Maranello. The evening was dedicated to promoting female talent in the automotive sector. The event brought together members, supporters, and guests from the automotive and motorsport worlds, offering opportunities for networking, discussion, and entertainment, also thanks to the professional and customized driving simulators that provided attendees with a unique immersive experience.

Monica Zanetti (“Lady F40”) and Laura Tancredi opened the evening with institutional greetings. The event was attended by the Mayor of Maranello, Luigi Zironi; the Councillor for Equal Opportunities, Laura Costi; Alessandra Campedelli, head coach of the Pakistan and Iran national women’s volleyball teams; as well as automotive and motorsport professionals and internationally renowned guests. The evening was further enriched by video messages from Formula 1 and WEC drivers, friends and supporters of the association.

During the event, the results achieved in the first two years of activity were presented, including participation in Notte Rossa 2025 and the Fox Running project—concrete examples of AWA’s commitment to training, innovation, and inclusion—along with the association’s new goals and future projects.

The Support of Zanasi Group and SIM Maranello

For years, Zanasi Group has supported AWA in promoting female leadership within the automotive sector. Hosting the event at the SIM Maranello headquarters further confirmed the Group’s commitment to supporting initiatives capable of generating cultural and professional value for the entire industry.

During the evening, the appointment of Simona Zanasi to AWA’s Board of Directors as Vice President was also officially announced, testifying to the increasingly strong bond between the association and the Group. A step that reinforces the shared commitment to actively contributing to the growth of a community focused on innovation, inclusion, and the development of new opportunities for women in the automotive sector.
