Bathed in an atmosphere of emotion and solemnity, the San Carlo Foundation Theatre in Modena provided the backdrop for the award ceremony at which Marco Zanasi was awarded the title of “Knight of the Order of Merit” on the evening of 19 December 2023.
The prestigious titles of the Order of Merit of the Republic, conferred by the Head of State, recognise citizens who have distinguished themselves for their commitment “in the field of literature, the arts, the economy, and in the fulfilment of public duties and in activities performed for social, philanthropic, and humanitarian purposes, as well as for long and notable services in civil and military careers”.
