The new season of Wheeler Dealers – World Tour sees Mike Brewer and Marc Priestley on a around-the-world adventure, discovering automotive treasures and  restoring them to their former glory. The first leg of their journey took them to Italy, to the heart of the Motor Valley, where they came across a rare black Ferrari 348 GTB.
As one of the last creations directly supervised by Enzo Ferrari, this particular model is a unique piece of history.

Behind its allure and unique status though, the Ferrari 348 GTB concealed various mechanical engineering challenges, including issues with the CV joints and the timing belt. During the three days that Mike and Marc were invited into the Zanasi Group workshops, they managed to fix all the Ferrari’s critical issues. And when it came to the bodywork, the meticulous work of the highly specialist  Zanasi Group repair technicians was essential in restoring the bumper to its original gleaming beauty.

Following its restoration, the Ferrari 348 GTB went back on the market, ready for a new life, which Mike secured for it after his negotiating skills led to a deal with an Italian collector. Zanasi Group’s involvement in this new wheeler-dealing adventure has certainly demonstrated the value of Italian manufacturing and services in the classic and luxury car scene, showcasing its excellence to an international audience.
